Children’s Workshop in Action with Gallery

  • Mar 24
  • 1 min read

This week, the two kindergarten groups from our school visited the Imbali Weaving Studio in turns, inspired by our work with threads, embroidery, and textiles in tge context of this year’s eTwinning program, as well as through the active citizenship program “Knots, Threads and Words.”

The students had the opportunity to explore different types of yarn up close, observe the loom, and learn how woven textiles are created. With great enthusiasm, they also tried weaving on the loom themselves, experiencing a unique moment of creativity and discovering the art of weaving through play and collaboration.

We warmly thank Cecilia Sakatira for her hospitality and for the wonderful way she guided us through the space, sharing the secrets of weaving and her knowledge and love for this craft.
